We recently had the fortune of chatting with James “Mr. Toast” Moise – founder of The Organic Gentlemen’s Club. As a self-proclaimed fashion consultant and socially responsible entrepreneur he is always on the go. We had a chance to ask him a few questions centered around his fitness routine…
PF: Typically what do you do to stay in shape?
JM: At the moment, I go the gym anywhere from 3 to 4 times a week. In addition to that I will get some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu grappling in from time to time. Yoga has found its way into my routine as well.
PF: With such a busy schedule how do you find time to get in your workouts?
JM: Right now, my full time job consists of me working about 11 hours per day. Based on my ability to utilize time management I tend to go to the gym before or after work.
PF: Have you always been active?
JM: For me I’ve always been involved in some form of fitness related activities. It wasn’t until my junior year in high school that I took up wrestling. Before that I would always be riding my bike throughout neighborhoods, pickup basketball, backyard football. Typical kid stuff.
PF: What would you say is your motivation for staying in shape?
JM: Motivation?? That is an everyday key that I utilize. There is no specific point in time that I can point to and say “hey this sh#t motivated me!” However, I am a goal oriented individual; goals help me stay motivated and focused. Health is wealth in my book. Physically going to the gym sucks sometimes I know. But the feeling after a workout is so refreshing, you just feel so much better mentally and physically.
